Mac Junkie

Okay, the rumors are very conflicting. Some say Apple is in discussions with record labels to offer a subscription based service for iTunes. Others say it's a bogus rumor but Apple may consider it down the road and the labels would welcome it.

The real question is, how many people would use it? Currently rumor places such a service at between 7-10 dollars (US) per month. I for one would gladly pay that much to get all the music I can handle, wether I own it afterwords or not.

However, Steve Jobs has often been against subscription based models, so I doubt this one comes to pass... but I have to admit, I'm hoping.
