are any of you lot using an irec to digitise anything av...........welll ive had this irec dock for well over a year now and never got it to work........turns out works on my wifes pc laptop.......perfectley........bummmer.......as now i have burn 950 videos to quicktime to go into itunes......buzzin.......but its an impressive peace of kit just wish it worked on the mac......hit me back.......mrb
ok lee...... an irec is effectivley an ipod dock that gives you the ability to record directly from any av source so......dvd, vcr, tv, sky, digibox, camcorder, hdd basically anything with your bog standard red, yellow and white av leads or you can use svideo........but its only for windows......which doesnt arse me as i am just using my wifes lap top to stick it in itunes......which the apple tvs pick up nicely.......but if you have loads of vhs likei do......its great because some of the content i have you can no longer get on any other format........it was £99......but expect to pay around £79 now............just google irec and you will find icube site....its there and it will give you more info.....
actually 2 and half weeks down the line got it working on my imacs........just the set up needs to be done on a pc.......its still awsome and the cheapest av converter out there.......so crack out those old home movies in vhs format and your memories will be restored for the digital age........hope this helps.....mr b
